Generally, buses from Colombo it will take you to Kitulgala via Avissawella – Hatton – Nuwara Eliya Hwy .  it will take around  2 hours, 30minto reach Kitulgala.

Kitulgala to Colombo

Kitulgala to Colombo 93 Km if you take a private taxi it will take around 2h, 30min and bus will take 4 hours. 

Kitulgala to Kandy 

Kitulgala to Kandy 60 Km and it will take 2 hours to reach by taxi and bus will take 3 hours to reach Kandy.
